MORAL INJURY: HOW TO HEAL WHEN YOU'VE ACTED AGAINST YOUR VALUES

Renewing Hope Agency presents Moral Injury: How To Heal When You've Acted Against Your Values with keynote speaker Rhoda Sturgeon

Event Date & Time: April 11, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Venue: To Be Announced

Rhoda Sturgeon—wife, mother of five, and Director of Community Care specializing in grief and trauma at Tidal Church Moncton—has a passion for helping people find peace and healing through a lasting foundation in Jesus and biblical truths.

In this upcoming session, in conjunction with the Trauma Healing Institute, we will explore moral injury, often referred to as a "soul wound." This occurs when individuals believe they have acted in ways that go against their deepest beliefs about what is right and good, especially when others have been harmed as a result.

We’ll also be covering:
~ An introduction to grief & trauma and their effects
~ The effects of moral injury
~ Moral injury and the Bible
~ How we can help someone with moral injury

Who Should Attend:
This workshop is ideal for individuals who have struggled with moral injury, including social workers, healthcare professionals, veterans, first responders, caregivers, and anyone navigating the emotional aftermath of ethical dilemmas or difficult decisions.

Join us on April 11 2025, to begin the process of healing and renew your hope.
